New England Ice Cream Corporation has a long and rich local history. Bruce Ginsberg founded New England Ice Cream Corporation in 1987 as an ice cream equipment trading and business development consulting company doing business with many Fortune 500 companies. In April, 1999 out of a basement home office, Ginsberg transformed New England Ice Cream into an operating company. With the first stage of operational startup completed, Ginsberg and his growing team of talented professionals then drove New England Ice Cream into a business they were all very familiar with - direct store distribution. New England Ice Cream landed its first location in May 2002 and within 18 months, the company was servicing over 2,000 new customers. From there, New England Ice Cream entered wholesale and specialty distribution in foodservice, education, health care, mobile vending and the special events trade channels. Along the way, Ginsberg put in place a top tier management team that today is responsible for upholding the tradition of providing excellent service to its loyal customers with valued quality branded products. The team is aggressively seeking new growth and business development opportunities.
Today, New England Ice Cream Corporation services over 5,000 valued customers. New England Ice Cream operates from a world class distribution center located in Taunton, Massachusetts and has distribution cross-dock locations in Dracut and Auburn Massachusetts and East Windsor, Connecticut.
New England Ice Cream has expanded its portfolio of products beyond ice cream. Today NEIC distributes over 1,000 items of ice cream, frozen desserts, beverages, snacks, healthy foods and other products. The Company services locations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine. New England Ice Cream is an authorized vendor to many of the largest food service companies including Sodexo, The Compass Group, Center Plate, Host and Aramark. New England Ice Cream purchases products directly from many of the finest branded companies in North America.
